What is VenturEd?

VenturEd is where overlooked talent meets forward-thinking companies, backed by the belief that tech should be a messy, colorful mix of everyone's ideas.

As a team from backgrounds not traditional to tech, we see it everywhere -- people with the same experiences working on the same problems. That's the opposite of how tech should be.

We partner with the best early-stage companies twice per year to provide truly unique work experiences to our diverse group of Fellows. In doing so, we're making tech more diverse and technology more useful.

Because when you expand who gets to innovate, you expand what problems get solved, and ultimately, who benefits from technology.

Two years later, we've built a community of hundreds of Fellows and dozens of partner companies all buzzing with the kind of fresh perspectives that make magic happen.

If you're serious about building something different, join us :)

Frequently Asked
Questions

What is the VenturEd Fellowship?

A remote, cohort-based internship program for high school students. We match accepted fellows — especially those from overlooked backgrounds — to vetted startups doing meaningful work.

Do I get to pick my internship?

You rank your top choices. We match you based on interest, skills, and company need. Everyone gets a role with real responsibility.

What other benefits do I get?

You'll get a letter of recommendation, a certificate of completion, acces to our speaker series and networking group, and targeted resume help and workshops.

How long is it?

6–8 weeks, completely remote, and about 10–12 hours/week. You'll have plenty of time to do this alongside school or other commitments.

What kinds of roles?

Everything from product and growth to research, design, operations, and engineering. If you can ship value, there's a seat for you.

What makes someone a good fit?

You're sharp, curious, and already building. You've got follow-through. You don't want to sit on the sidelines anymore.

What happens before the fellowship?

We also run sprints and prep programs to help students level up before joining the full fellowship. Think of it as pre-season training.

Who runs this?

We're students too. And startup builders. And debaters. And coders. We built the program we wanted but couldn't find.

Become a Fellow

Let us hear your story, and in turn get an opportunity to work at one of our incredible partner companies and a network of the other amazing young builders in the Fellowship. Decisions release in early December.
